This project is about renovating a 1930’s building and turning it into an urban complex that combines: housing for immigrants, a neighborhood rooftop bar and an area for growing hydroponic plants.

Our planning method is "top to bottom". By creating holes in the horizontal surfaces, natural light from the skylight on the roof can reach the interior of the building, down to the ground floor and this creates a new, open, illuminated interior space that is suitable for hydroponic growth and connects the “old” with the “new”.
